1. Organize- Before you go right ahead packing things away, you’re going to want to sort and organize you’re belongings by size, shape, and durability.
   
2. BOXES- Boxes are going to be your best friend when packing.  They can fit a lot of your valuables, and are easily portable.  You need to be sure to label these boxes too so your things are easy to find when you need them.  Mark things that need to be handled delicately as FRAGILE.  Stacking boxes can help create more space too.  Remember the rule of thumb; the heavier boxes go on the bottom!
3. Take Inventory- Consider writing down a list of all the things you will be packing.  In case something is ever missing and you are not sure if it is packed away in storage or not, you can always go back to that list and double check.  Try to sort your list by box. Numbering boxes can be helpful too.
4. Fill boxes in layers- Put the heavy stuff on the bottom, medium weight next, and the lightest items up top. Use crushed paper or pieces of cardboard between the layers as dividers.

Example #1  Your Destructive Dog!
